Reading on the Privy – Did you know that the average person spends about 3 entire years sitting on a toilet? That is a lot of time so hopefully you have a book to read. Imagine how much reading you could get done!
Toilet Flushing – During the super bowl halftime show the toilet is flushed more than any other time in the year. This could have something to do with all the food and drinks that people are taking in during the show time … and their hesitation to leave the game even for a minute.
Medications – About 90% of all medications that are taken by people are excreted through urine. This means that the sewers are probably swimming with all sorts of drugs. EPA has tested some fish and found trace amounts of antibiotics, pain relievers, estrogen and even anti-depressants.
Fire! – In Japan they have started using technology to have urinals flush using voice activation. There are many commands that allows you to flush the urinals, one of them is FIRE! How fun is that!
Copper Pipes – Most things in life make advancements and change as people recognize what works best and lasts longer. One thing that has not changed is the type of pipe that is used for plumbing. Copper Piping is the most used piping for all plumbing which is the same thing that was used in Egypt almost 3000 years ago.
