When you talk about plumbing everyone thinks of the same thing, water and pipes. When you take it a step further and you talk about the items that go down drains you may hear a few different things such as toilet paper, urine and feces. Alligators in Drain Pipes? – In 2006 in a drain pipe that was found in Texas, workers saw something that looked like it did not belong. The item was too large to move so when they removed the pipe to see what it was they were very surprised. They were met by a huge 600 pound alligator that was so large that it had no way to move around the pipe and was pretty much stuck there.

Car in Sewer Lines? – One thing that you are sure to never see in the sewer system is a car, right? Wrong! If you talk to the city workers in London that found half of a mini cooper in the sewer lines. They pulled it out of the large pipe and are really unsure as to how it could have gotten there.

Expensive Watches in Sewers? – England sewers may be the place to go if you are interested in treasure hunting. One cleaner in Essex was able to get several watches which included two Rolexes, an Omega and a Frank Muller. They are estimated to be worth about $93,000. That is a major score for him.

Jaw Bone in Sewer? – There was a very odd find in a sewer in Alberta when a worker came across a bone. Finding a bone in the sewer is not really uncommon but the type of bone that was recovered is pretty rare. The bone was a jaw bone and was about the size of a human, except it wasn’t form a person at all. They are still not sure what kind of animal it came from, but is was large.
